Knockout Stage[]
Six UEFA countries advanced to the knockout stage. They were paired together leaving the 3 group winners, Netherlands, Germany and Spain to contest the quarter finals. With all 3 countries winning their matches Germany and Spain met in the semi finals. Spain defeated Germany and Netherlands to become the 2010 champions. Whilst Germany finished with third place.
